Seats, quotas and previous cut-off context

Seats: Branch availability is shown during counselling; institute intake may change

Quota / reservation: Counselling uses VIT rank, programme/campus choice and fee category rather than JoSAA-style state quotas

Cut-off viewOfficial previous-data contextPlanning use
Branch / programmeVIT does not use a JoSAA-style public OR-CR table for every branch/categoryCompare the same branch, pool and round in the official previous-year archive.
Category / quotaCounselling phase, rank, campus, programme and fee category affect availabilityCompare the same branch, pool and round in the official previous-year archive.
Round / vacancyUse the live counselling dashboard and official instructions for the final choiceCompare the same branch, pool and round in the official previous-year archive.
Official-data note

VIT does not publish a JoSAA-style branch/category opening-and-closing-rank archive. Rank phase, campus, programme and tuition category interact during live counselling, so third-party cutoff tables are not presented as official.

Use the official counselling/admission portal for branch-wise, category-wise and round-wise previous cut-offs. Cross-check the additional official source.

Fees vary by programme group and counselling category. Use VIT’s current programme-and-category fee table; hostel and mess are additional.
